It is my intention to outline specific habits in this article that will empower and help assist you in your health transformation. Now after you identify these specific habits you must bring great effort to the equation.

When you call forth your inner teacher in an open and honest way, you can explore your physical and mental-emotional Health through a unique lens. You can ask yourself if there are societal and personal expectations that are burdening you and blocking your tout sur les abdos. You can explore whether some part of your past unfairly has a hold on your health and who you are today. You can explore your relationships with yourself and other people to see whether they are supporting or hindering health. You can also notice how you manage stress and emotions and whether your current approach could use some adjustment for better health.

If we go back and read Genesis in the Bible, we find that both man and animals were created to eat vegetarian foods (Genesis 1:29, 30). It wasn’t until after the flood that God allowed man to eat meat (Genesis 9:3). Although God allowed man to eat meat, he commands us to only eat clean meats (Leviticus 11). It is not specifically recorded that God told Noah to eat only clean meats; however, we know that Noah was certainly aware of what animals were clean and which were not. In fact, he took 7 pairs of the clean animals and only 2 pairs of the unclean (Genesis 7:2).

The next biggest problem in our health system besides what we eat is the way in which we treat sickness. Most people go to a doctor who will end up prescribing some sort of expensive medicine created by a pharmaceutical company to treat the symptoms of the illness rather than its root cause. Such treatments do not fix the illness; instead, they merely mask the symptoms, giving the appearance that the problem is fixed. More often than not, people end up getting sick again and the entire process repeats.

Choice is having options. Options mean that you are able to determine which way you want to go and what you want to see happen. Not having options is about as negative as it gets. When you don’t have options, you have no choices and you can only go the direction that you are forced to go in.

As much as possible, keeping healthy practices in the “You can do it” and “You can handle this” camps over the “Scary and unapproachable” camp can do wonders in helping you overcome health hurdles to look and feel the way you want in your health.

One person that comes to mind, who in my opinion is a great motivator, is Dr. Phil. Who better to think of when you need a little kick in the pants, I can hear Dr. Phil in the back of my mind saying, “Woman, what are you thinking?” I think this same phrase can also be applied to priorities with our health. Sometimes we all need to hear a “tell it like it is” philosophy to get us off our… you know what… .

These things are actually connected. Health coaches can help you know your metabolic type and formulate with you a personalized diet. The metabolic type of person is studied to be key to a healthier life. When you know your metabolic type, you’ll also know how much and what food you should eat. Thus, you can formulate your diet, but you can’t do it alone. Formulating your personalized knowledge needs the expertise of a health coach. With a health coach, you are sure to have a healthy body and more. You can call it optimal health, the health that covers not only the body but also your wellness.
