It’s the worrying that drives us to work well beyond the required 40 hour workweek. Some of us think that by working more hours, it will somehow impress the boss. In the meantime, we neglect our health and our families: more stress.
The main aspect about meditation is that it’s a personal thing. There are no rules, no rights or wrongs. Just sit quietly and make an effort to relax however you see fit. You may find focusing on your breath or a mantra is helpful. In time, you’ll come up with answers on what works for you, and hopefully you’ll experience all the benefits of this simple practice.
