Becoming a publisher and a writer of a blog can have many great rewards. While it is true that most blogs have a small following, talented bloggers and dedicated have been able to draw in the attention of millions of readers. No, that is not an exaggeration in any way, shape or form. Of course, you would have to work very hard at making your blog successful. That process starts with creating an actual blog.

If I could go back and change one thing then I would probably have blogged more consistently. When I did that readers, subscribers, comments and emails increased pretty quickly. When I blogged inconsistently everything moved slower or not at all.

Business associations and unions can be attained by having a Blog. Since you will be online, other businesses will locate you effortlessly and in so doing help build your experience, leads and sales.

Unfortunately, I could never make that plan a reality. If you are able to make a lot of money from a single blog, I applaud you. However, for most people, it seems to me that is unlikely that they will ever reach their goal. Instead I recommend that you do the opposite.

But don’t just limit yourself to Google! Search anywhere people can talk about you– online blogs, news sources, forums, social media sites, etc. Making a plan to ensure you control page one of Google’s results and other sites was the most important part of taking control of our online presence and turning our reputation around. If this seems too daunting or you find you don’t have the time manage Google’s first page of results, you may want to hire a reputation manager to help you get this fine tuned like we did.

The problem with these blogging platforms is that they come with a long list of terms of service or TOS. WordPress, for example, will suspend a blog if it’s too “commercial.” They’ll suspend your account if they think your blog is too self-serving. In fact, you’re at the mercy of some junior editor somewhere who thinks you blog contains too many self-serving links or places too much emphasis on your business!

In summation, those are my top three tips to earning money with blogs. I believe that if a person is dedicated and willing to put in the time, anyone can earn a four figure income every month from their blogging activities.
