Today, many businesses use email marketing to keep in contact with their prospects and clients. HTML emails are widely used for all kinds of professional correspondence. Due to the emergence of new communication platforms, people are reading emails through a number of standalone email clients. When you send an HTML email, you must make sure that it is going to be displayed correctly across various platforms so that your recipients can read it.

Test the email before you send it out. Send out the final draft of the newsletter to your colleagues in office and ask them to proof read it for errors, the images look as expected and the click-through links work. Only after it has been tested send it.

If you have any company videos you can also add them here along with up to 10 photos. You can write a business profile, hours of operation etc. Again this will really help your company’s placement on the Google results page.

An additional common reason we might send to an old list or subscribers happens because we neglect to put an “unsubscribe” link towards the end of our messages and solicitations. Adding this one thing in your emails will solve this issue more often than not. Making it possible for your subscribers to “opt out” of email streams may seem counter-intuitive. It’s best if we allow our subscribers to opt out. Why? Because doing this helps keep our emails on everyone’s whitelist and out from the spam boxes because it won’t be reported as spam!
