On the Internet, information is free. Most of it, anyway. But the basic principle of the information highway is anyone can go on it and have a joy ride. True, there are many websites that let you shop till you drop, but even if this is the norm now for online shopping addicts, music is different. iTunes, Amazon, CDBaby, and the like have catalogs upon catalogs of music for sale and yet, most netizens would rather get their music free. Such injustice for the artists behind the music, right? How can an artist or band sell music online if music lovers would only download them for free?

You have to establish a relationship first. If this were the dating scene, you’re basically wooing people to listen to you. When you enter an online digital MUSIC EDM distribution deal, the first order of business is to share music. You let MP3s be uploaded to blog or websites and have it reviewed. You allow future fans to download it to their gadgets and enjoy them. When they have fallen in love with you, they want to know more of you. That’s when you show the goods. And if you click, you’ll be together for a lifetime. A lifetime commitment to a musician guarantees music sales. Forever.

Obviously, nothing can stop digital music. Digital music will continue to grow in the next coming years. I do not know where exactly it is heading but sooner or later we will reach the next step in music. As I am writing this I am listening to digital music on my computer getting really excited about what that next step in music is going to be? Hopefully I will still be around to witness it.
